EcoBack introduces an innovative technology for enviromentally friendly metal recovery from electronic waste

Modern technology and research have made it possible to recover metal efficiently from electronic waste.
The first technique to recover solder alloys from used printed circuit boards was developed thanks to a research and development project carried out by EcoBack. Due to active collaboration with well known institutes, our projects are made feasible.
EcoBack has received support from academic institutions and can now use the most recent solutions to design an effective project the outperforms other implemented initiatives around the world in terms of innovativeness and implementation speed.
Ecoback is taking the lead in innovation in terms of e-waste recycling.
TECHNOLOGY
The technology provided by EcoBack is a combination of two methods: mechanical and chemical which is combined in the process to separate fractions from the printed circuit boards.With this approach, thermal technology, which is enviromentally detrimental and Energy-intensive is no loger used. It is nearly impossible to prevent CO2 emission and the other compounds in widely known thermal recycling. Reusing recycled materials allows us to reduce CO2 emissions into the atmosphere while also conserving natural resources.
LABORATORY
To optimase the technical process, an analytical control must be carried out, which is why EcoBack has its own high-tech laboratory for inspecting raw materials and final goods.
We analyse solid samples such metals, metal oxides, plastic, ceramics and all kind of solutions.
It is possible to determine such elements as Cu, Ag, Au, Pd, Pb, Ni, Fe, Zn, As, Cd, Hg, Sn, and many more.
It is necessary to perform an analytical control to optimise the technological process, that is why EcoBack has its own laboratory for examining materials and finished products.
We analyse solid samples: metals, metal oxides, plastic, ceramics and all kinds of solutions.

Results obtained through analyses were approved by the laboratories owned by the recipients and accredited research facilities.


EcoBack Company acts under the decision of the Marshal of the Mazowieckie Province no.: 83/14/PŚ.O, 83/15/PŚ.O and PŚ-IV.7243.31.2015.PS, which grant permission to operating in the field of hazardous and other waste processing.
The Company is entered into the Register of Companies and Organisations Recovering Electrical and Electronic Equipment kept by the Chief Inspectorate for Environmental Protection under the number E0019516X.
We issue recycling confirmation certificates, waste processing takes place within R4 and R5 processes.

Development of: the concept of separating specific elements of ferromagnetic fraction; the concept of production of ferrite weight for heavy liquids; conceptual design for the construction of a prototype of ferromagnetic fraction processing line, conceptual design for the production of ferrite weight, as well as implementation guidelines for this project.
